Since their departure from the royal family, Harry and Meghan have made numerous explosive statements against the royal family. Their multiple interviews have worsened the relationship between Harry and his brother William, who were once so close. However, the recent illness of Kate Middleton and that of King Charles III has led to speculation about a reconciliation. Nevertheless, the presence of Meghan Markle seems to be apprehended by some members of the royal family.
Sources close to the family have suggested that the trials could serve as a catalyst to bring its members together. Prince William and Kate Middleton are even said to have reached out to the Sussexes, inviting them to return to the UK with their children, Archie and Lilibet, in a gesture of unity.
However, the road to reconciliation seems fraught with obstacles, mainly because of Meghan Markle according to some. The former Suits actress is said to have set two conditions for considering a reconciliation with the royal family. She would expect more respect for her and apologies for what she was allegedly subjected to. This position appears to be supported by her husband Prince Harry.
