Prince Harry has expressed a desire to reconnect with the family following his father’s illness, King Charles III. This hope seems to be reinforced by the health problems of his sister-in-law Kate Middleton, revealed last March 22. However, this desire for reconciliation would, according to some, clash with the hostility of his wife Meghan Markle.
According to British sources, Harry was considering taking advantage of the anniversary of the Invictus Games, which he founded, as an opportunity to finally return to the United Kingdom, his homeland. But according to these same sources, Meghan Markle, the mother of his children, would not approve of this trip. She would cite security concerns among other reasons. A quote from a royalty expert in the Sun highlights that if Meghan does not wish to participate in the project in any way, she could however have the last word on the decision.
The couple residing in Montecito, California, it seems unlikely that Harry would make the trip with their children, Archie and Lilibet, without Meghan’s support. Harry is said to have confided to his wife his apprehension about leaving alone, ideally preferring a family trip. However, internal tensions make these aspirations difficult to achieve for the moment.
