On February 17th, at the Sneaker Con in Philadelphia, Donald Trump unveiled a new facet of his entrepreneurial empire: a high-end sneaker collection. Named Never Surrender, this series — presented as a collector’s item — is limited to just 1000 pairs.
Each purchase includes not only the pair of sneakers, but also a medallion depicting Trump as a superhero… Buyers are invited to a launch party, although the presence of the former president is not guaranteed.
This foray into the fashion world comes at a particular time for the 2024 presidential candidate. Recently condemned to pay a fine of 355 million dollars for financial fraud, is Trump trying to strengthen his bond with his supporters?
In addition to the sneakers, Trump has launched a perfume — Victory 47 — in reference to his potential future presidency. Some of the products offered on the GetTrumpSneakers.com site are already out of stock.
But will all these ventures be enough to cover the 355 million dollar fine he has been sentenced to? More to follow.
