Prince Harry: Very Moved in London

Prince Harry recently visited London to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, a significant event for him that coincided with a difficult family time. His father, King Charles III, chose this moment to announce the appointment of his brother William as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps, a title dear to Harry’s heart.

This decision deeply upset Prince Harry, to such an extent that he could not hold back his tears. This gesture, perceived as an additional exclusion from the royal family, only accentuated his feeling of being sidelined, notably by his own brother, to whom he attributes many of his torments.

During his stay, the Duke of Sussex did not meet any members of his close family, instead opting for hotel accommodation despite an invitation to stay in a royal residence. This physical distance from the royal family may also symbolize an emotional distance.

The impact of this visit was not limited to missed reunions or lost titles; it reflects a much deeper fracture within the royal family, making any future reconciliation uncertain.
