Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton celebrate the birthday of their adorable eldest son, Prince George, with a particularly elegant portrait. For his 11th birthday, Kate Middleton shared a new photo of George on social media, taken in Windsor earlier this month.
In this black and white portrait, George appears smiling, dressed in a suit and shirt, an image that contrasts with the more informal photos of previous years. Kate Middleton, passionate about photography, accompanied this photo with a simple message: “Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!”
Despite the criticism faced earlier this year for retouching a family photo, Kate continues to share intimate moments. Last month, she published photos of her husband, Prince William, with their children on Father’s Day and for William’s birthday. In April and May, she also took portraits of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis for their birthdays.
These shares are all the more notable as Kate Middleton, currently undergoing treatment for cancer, has reduced her public appearances. She nevertheless participated in the Trooping the Colour parade in June and attended the men’s final at Wimbledon on July 14, where she received a standing ovation.
After this difficult period, Kate and her family have started their summer vacation. Instead of heading to the Caribbean, they will enjoy the beaches of Norfolk and will go to Scotland in August for the traditional family reunion at Balmoral Castle. These holidays will offer a well-deserved break for the royal family, especially for Prince William, who has supported his wife while fulfilling his royal duties.
