Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are celebrating their adorable eldest son, Prince George, with a particularly elegant portrait. For his 11th birthday, Kate Middleton shared a new photo of George on social media, taken in Windsor earlier this month.
In this black-and-white portrait, George appears smiling, dressed in a suit and shirt, an image that contrasts with the more casual photos from previous years. Kate Middleton, a photography enthusiast, accompanied the photo with a simple message: "Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!"
Despite the criticism she faced earlier this year for editing a family photo, Kate continues to share intimate moments. Last month, she posted photos of her husband, Prince William, with their children for Father’s Day and William’s birthday. In April and May, she also took portraits of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis for their birthdays.
These posts are all the more notable because Kate Middleton, currently undergoing treatment for cancer, has reduced her public appearances. She nevertheless took part in the Trooping the Colour parade in June and attended the women’s Wimbledon final on July 14, where she received a standing ovation.
After this difficult period, Kate and her family have begun their summer vacation. Rather than heading to the Caribbean, they will enjoy the beaches of Norfolk and travel to Scotland in August for the traditional family gathering at Balmoral Castle. This break will offer a well-deserved respite for the royal family, especially Prince William, who has supported his wife while carrying out his royal duties.
