The Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene are delighted parents. Next December, they will celebrate the 10th birthday of their twins, Gabriella and Jacques. The princely couple has shared some details about the preparations for this special event.
During the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games on July 26th, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were accompanied by their children. Despite the rain, they proudly attended the event. This moment reminded them of their first Olympic Games together in Turin in 2006, an important milestone in their relationship.
In a recent interview with the press, Prince Albert spoke about their first meeting during a swimming competition in Monaco. He confided: "I don’t know if we fell in love at that moment. After that, I didn’t see Charlene for several years…". He remembers her as an "excellent swimmer" and a kind and smiling person.
The parents also talked about the sports education of their children. Jacques and Gabriella practice several sports, including swimming, gymnastics, fencing, tennis, and taekwondo. According to the princely couple, sports instill essential values.
On December 10th, the twins will celebrate their 10th birthday. Prince Albert specified that it will be a family and simple birthday, without an official ceremony. Charlene added: "Even if it’s a special date, I think all birthdays are wonderful."
Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella are known for their close bond. Their mother declared: "They are close and inseparable. It’s incredible to see, so unique. Even though I suppose all parents of twins understand what I mean."
The upcoming celebrations will be an opportunity to see this famous princely family continue to share precious moments and strengthen their bonds.
