Madonna on stage in Rio

The American pop icon Madonna put on a breathtaking show on the famous Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro. After her fall on stage in Seattle last February, the singer didn’t stop! Nearly 1.6 million spectators gathered for this grand and free concert.

The show started just before 11 pm with Madonna appearing all in black, singing Nothing Really Matters. The evening was a celebration of over two hours of her forty-year career, mixing iconic hits with erotic interludes and bold choreographies. On stage: constant costume changes and impressive staging.

Amid religious symbols, Madonna was joined by special guests, including Brazilian singer Anitta and drag-queen Pabllo Vittar. Several of her children shone by her side in successful choreographies.

The audience was carried away by the energy of the eternal queen of pop, who hasn’t aged a bit. Some, like the Argentine sisters Alba and Roxy Rueda, had traveled especially for this concert.

More than an artistic triumph, the concert was a significant economic boost for the city. According to city hall estimates, the event generated about 293 million Brazilian reais.

This memorable event brought together passion, music, and festivity in a spectacular setting.
