Kylian Mbappé leaves Paris Saint-Germain to join Real Madrid. The Spanish club announced his arrival last June 3. In a statement, Real Madrid confirmed that Mbappé signed for the next five seasons.
The French player shared the news on his social media accounts. He expressed his joy and pride at joining the club of his dreams. "A dream come true. So happy and proud. ¡ Hala Madrid!" he wrote under childhood photos.
Now based in Spain, Mbappé is determined to stand out. His transfer was praised by many public figures, including actress Maria Bravo. She shared a photo on Instagram with Mbappé and Eva Longoria, prompting mixed reactions.
Some internet users praised the Desperate Housewives actress’s luck in meeting Mbappé, while others went so far as to criticize it. An ironic comment from Maria Bravo replied to criticism aimed at Tony Parker’s ex: "Haha, you’re funny."
Cristiano Ronaldo also congratulated Mbappé on Instagram. His message broke records, racking up more than 4 million likes. This highlights Ronaldo’s influence, as the most-followed person on Instagram with 631 million followers.
With this transfer, Mbappé is set to write a new chapter in his career in Spain.
