An anonymous source told the British press that Kate Middleton’s schedule for this year is empty. No public appearances are planned, as she obviously wants to focus on her recovery. The famous princess is undergoing medical treatment in private.
Despite this, on Tuesday, May 28, the Princess of Wales was seen in Holt, near her Anmer Hall residence, in the company of Prince William. The couple went to Bakers & Larners, a local delicatessen. The store manager expressed his excitement in the newspaper’s pages. "We are always honored to have a visit from the royal family. We hope to see Their Royal Highnesses back in Holt very soon."
At the end of May, Vanity Fair revealed that Kate Middleton had reached a milestone in her cancer treatment. A family friend said it was a great relief to see that she was tolerating the medication well and that she is much better.
This appearance reassured admirers of the British monarchy. Kate Middleton had not taken part in any official event since the announcement of her cancer in mid-March. Sources had even suggested she might be absent for the rest of 2024. However, seeing her in Holt brought comfort to the realm.
