The change is very recent. Search engines still keep snippets announcing A House of Cards starting on September 18, 2026. The site now lists Berlin Berlin as of September 17. This gap between indexed results and the currently accessible lineup calls for careful dating of each observation.
The disappearance of booking information also does not make it possible to determine when the decision was made. At this stage, no recent public statement explains the conditions of the cancellation. Neither the theater, nor Pascal Legros Organisation, nor the show’s producer has communicated.
What Play Was Gérard Darmon Supposed To Revive?
Written by Hadrien Raccah and directed by Serge Postigo, A House of Cards brings together three characters. Gérard Darmon stars alongside Isabelle Gélinas and Stéphan Wojtowicz. The play is built around a dinner and a game of jealousy in which the relationships between the protagonists are suddenly reversed.
The show was not new. It had already been performed at the Théâtre des Nouveautés in the fall of 2025. The Ticketac listing preserves audience reviews posted through February 8, 2026. They document that initial run, without reconstructing the full schedule of the revival announced for September.
The Stated Reason Remains The One Given By Le Parisien
According to Le Parisien, the owners and the producer decided not to go ahead with the revival. The paper, published on July 30 and updated the next day, cites a desire to avoid disruptions in the theater. It links that decision to Pascal Legros Organisation and to the context of the allegations involving Gérard Darmon.
This reason comes from an exclusive report by the newspaper. It is not confirmed by a public statement from the parties concerned. Three signs support the show’s removal: the listing for Berlin Berlin, the unavailability on Ticketac, and the removal of another page. They do not prove the causation advanced.
Le Parisien also mentions the disruptions that affected Patrick Bruel performances in another venue run by the same organization. This comparison sheds light on the reasoning the paper attributes to the decision-makers; it does not make it possible to equate two distinct factual and legal situations.
The practical details are also incomplete. The dates that had gone on sale, the number of tickets involved, and the instructions given to buyers are not publicly documented. Gérard Darmon told the weekly magazine that he denied having made or done the remarks and gestures attributed to him. This denial cannot be separated from the reminder of the testimonies: the published allegations cannot be presented as facts established by a court decision.
One of the technicians interviewed said she had taken action against a production company for failing to provide protection. That step does not amount to a criminal complaint personally targeting Gérard Darmon.
