Since leaving TF1’s evening news in 2015, Claire Chazal has been rare on television. It was during an interview that she expressed her frustration at her lack of visibility.
At 67, Claire Chazal is not considering retirement. She wants to keep hosting TV programs. An iconic TF1 figure, she anchored the evening news from 1991 to 2015 before being replaced by Anne-Claire Coudray.
Hired by France Télévisions, she hosted Passage des arts on France 5 and then France 2, before the show was canceled. She now works on France 3 with Le Grand échiquier, which airs only four times a year.
Claire Chazal aspires to more television projects, saying she is ready to take up more space on a channel. She remains open to other media such as radio, which she loves and listens to a lot.
The beautiful blonde with relaxed elegance is eager to fully practice her profession as a journalist. Retirement is not for her!
