Alphonse, 17, Wins The Voice And Already Knows What He Wants!

Alphones, the big winner of season 13 of The Voice, on stage

Just crowned the winner of this thirteenth season of The Voice, Alphonse is already thinking about the next steps in his career. Zazie’s protégé opened up about his career model and the artists he wishes to collaborate with.

Alphonse, the worthy successor of Zazie? Not really. Noticed by his coach from the blind auditions thanks to his interpretation of a Jacques Brel song, the 17-year-old high school student passed all the stages until his crowning moment during the grand finale broadcast this Saturday, May 26. With 53% of the public’s votes, he triumphed over Baptiste Sartoria and was able to lift the V-shaped trophy.

A victory rewarding his audacity, but also his disobedience, as this lover of lyrical songs refused to perform the piece specially composed by Zazie for the occasion. "It was a song that didn’t suit me," he told our colleagues at Gala, preferring something that "swings."

Zazie did not seem irritated by her champion’s veto, advising him to take his time regarding his musical future. The baccalaureate awaits Alphonse in the coming days, then it will be time to focus on his album. "I will propose something that totally resembles me, so we need to give time to time," promises the one who will certainly travel across France with the The Voice tour.

As an inspiration, the youngest contestant of this 2024 edition holds a model, and not just any model: Michel Sardou. "He is kind of my idol and I would love to have the same career as him," he hopes, with stars in his eyes. As for the artists he would like to collaborate with in the coming months, Alphonse names two figures from the talent show: Vianney and Florent Pagny. Or how to send Zazie waltzing… again?
